This Introductory Workshop is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the art of Thai Yoga Massage while having fun giving and receiving some great bodywork.

Thai Yoga Massage, also known as Traditional Thai Massage, has roots in Yoga and Ayurveda as well as Buddhism. It was brought to Thailand from India around 2000 years ago. It is a holistic therapy that works on a deeper level than purely the physical body. Working on the 10 Sen lines, similar to the Chinese Meridians, practitioners aim to balance the body's energy systems and clear blockages, bringing overall wellbeing. This bodywork consists of a mixture of acupressure and gentle assisted yoga stretches, with the client wearing soft comfortable clothing, and the therapist working with a meditative flow. It is a wonderful experience for both giver and receiver!

This workshop will very much focus on hands-on learning. You will learn a sequence of stretches and exercises that are safe and easy to give and feel fantastic. Your friends and family will probably send you for some more training soon!
